Pros and cons of VsCam app for iPhone and iPad
VsCam app good for
Faster loading cameras. Fast response time. Overall good app for vstarcam ip cams.
But need some improvements like;
1. No time stamp on TF card recorded clips.
2. TF recorded clips doesnt have slider to move forward and backward.
3. Morton activated recorded clips cannot be identified on the video clips list.
Works well when connected. Seems to loose connection at times. Movement of video seems to lag quite a bit and is hard to control precisely. Not sure why there is no zoom in/out feature? This would be a great if it was added. Hopefully an upgrade in the future. Overall not too bad.
1) do not auto-lock iPhone when I use app to watch cam.
2) auto record video to iPhone when app in use and alarm is triggered.
3) make notification (popup) when alarm is triggered and app in background mode.
4) make sound when alarm is triggered and app in use mode.
Some bad moments
Since recent update on app can not view camera. Has made the monitoring system useless. I hope this gets fixed.
Not connected with wifi.
Setting can not be changed.
Unworthy to evaluation.
This camera app does not work via Wi-Fi but 4g. If you can have an option to choose another camera, Ill recommend it.
I cannot connect with iPhone7Plus(iOS10.2) after update.
You will be reproduced with both Lan connect and Wifi connect.
Version 2.3.6 will be reproduced in 4G.
Because this is very good APP, could you please improve this behavior?

Russian language automatic change on Chinese. Please decide it. Very difficult work with this app.
After Upgrade at september app cant to connect to cameras.
I purchased four VStarCam cameras (two indoor/2 outdoor) and initially was able to install them after downloading the app. The cameras were slow to operate but I appreciated being able to monitor both video and audio. I found that the cameras went offline every few weeks which required me to delete and reinstall them. Now, none of the cameras will come back online even though the app can see that they are plugged in. Tech support says to reset the cameras, but this has proven not to work. I recommend avoiding this brand.
